About Me

About

Hi! I’m Alice, I recently graduated from the University of Bath where i studied biomedical science! I have a passion for making complicated science make sense and I’m currently working as a Medical Writer. I started this blog to share clear, honest takes on everything from women’s health and medication to viral skincare trends and science news. If you’ve ever thought “why didn’t anyone just explain it like this?”, this space is for you.

Who I am

Hi! My name is Alice and I am a 23 years old. I studied at the Unviersity of Bath, and graduated with a first class Masters degree in the summer of 2025! At the moment I’m working as an Associate Medical Writer in London! I am from Venice, Italy, but I was born and raised in the Netherlands where I attended an International/American school for most of my education.

Why I started this

Honestly, I really enjoy writing and I’m always curious about the small scientific details of everyday life, so I figured why not blend those two things together. I feel like blogs are so underrated, and with the rise of TikTok and other social media platforms we don’t see as much information in a written format, that isn’t for academia. Don’t get me wrong— I love myself a good TikTok scroll, but I also find great value in reading written opinions, ideas and stories.
